Dr. Seun Odewole

Dr. Seun Odewole is a board-certified physician, educator, researcher, and mentor who is passionate about helping medical students and graduates navigate the residency Match process with confidence.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria, Dr. Odewole completed a Master of Public Health at Emory University and her Family Medicine residency at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. She also spent several years conducting clinical and public health research, with her scholarly work cited more than 1,000 times.

Dr. Odewole currently practices as a Hospitalist with WellStar Health System and serves as a Clinical Instructor. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine. As a Fellow of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society for Hospital Medicine, she remains deeply committed to patient care, medical education, mentorship, and developing future physician leaders.

As an international medical graduate who successfully navigated the U.S. residency system, Dr. Odewole understands firsthand the challenges, uncertainties, and opportunities that applicants face.
